Abstract
A theoretical analysis for the resonant hyper-Ramanscattering (RHRS) of light in a CdS crystal is presented. Thedifferent scattering mechanisms are considered and the crosssection of the RHRS by LO phonons are calculated as a function ofincident frequency.
