Abstract

The mechanized rotary drilling construction of prefabricated screw pile is a new type of pile. This kind of pile type has good environmental benefits, low construction cost, short construction time and strong bearing capacity. In view of the peculiar force condition of the power transmission tower foundation and the characteristics of mechanized construction, this paper proposes a new type of screw pile, that is, mechanized rotary drilling construction of prefabricated screw piles. The foundation consists of four parts: a “cross screwdriver” steel foot plate, anchor bolts, special threaded steel molds, and screw type prestressed reinforced concrete piles. Through the analysis of the mechanical performance, economic benefits and construction plan of screw piles, it is found that the bearing capacity of mechanized rotary drilling construction of prefabricated screw pile can meet the needs of the project. At the same time, the mechanized rotary drilling construction of prefabricated screw pile has good social and economic benefits and can be further promoted and applied.
