Abstract

Romania's integration in European Union brought changes to all fields. One of the most important areas for each countrie, whether it is EU member or not, is education. European Union wanted to create a common European space for higher education. The Bologna reform, signed in June 1999, formed a new European university system that allows all students to have access to mobility, because diplomas are common and the education system become a uniform one. Although the reform has brought discontent in many Member States, it has both advantages and disadvantages which we will highlight in this study.
