Abstract

We report phenomenological study of the 4He(in-flight K −, π ∓) data at BNL, in order to clarify the structure of Σ 4He ( J π =0 +, T⋍ 1 2 ) which was predicted theoretically as a Σ-hypernuclear bound state. The π ∓ spectrum is calculated in the DWIA framework by Green's function treatment with the Λ-Σ coupling, and is compared with the data. The result shows us the structure of Σ 4He as a bound state.
