Abstract

The worldview aspects of gender inequality are analyzed. The content of gender myths, gender stereotypes, and gender identification as the foundation of gender inequality is determined. Legal mechanisms for overcoming gender inequality are elucidated. Using foundational legislative acts of the EU as examples, the orientation of the Western community towards overcoming gender inequality in political, economic, and social life is demonstrated.
