Abstract
It is shown that the Dirac and Weyl theories of zero-mass particles with spin 1/2, can be generalized to the case of arbitrary spins>0. In particular we show that the wave equations of zero-mass particles with spin 1, are the correct photon equations. If the spin matrices are expressed in the Cartesian representation, these equations reduce to the Maxwell equations for free, circularly polarized, electromagnetic waves.
