Abstract
Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine gave rise to a number of problems in the field of international law. The study analyzes only one of the many aspects of this issue – the challenge of Russia’s armed aggression in relation to the principle of prohibition of the use of force in international law. The study reveals the influence of Russia’s war against Ukraine on the functioning of the principle of the prohibition of force in international law, its historical formation, as well as other aspects of the operation of the principles of law.
