Abstract

The vaporization behavior of has been investigated by mass spectrometry and mass‐loss torsion‐effusion. The results of these studies indicate that the primary constituent of the vapor above crystalline is molecular , but that minor amounts of , , , , , and are also present. The enthalpy and entropy of vaporization at 450 K are and , respectively. The value of the enthalpy of sublimation at 298.15 K is calculated as . The results of this study are compared with those of previous investigations, and ambiguities resulting from the slow phase transition between are addressed.
