Abstract
This article attempts to discuss the use of wargames as a tool for shaping decision-making skills in the tactical training of commissioned and non-commissioned officers. The use of games duringtraining activities, due to active participation and utilisation of various methods and techniques, provides a wide range of opportunities to train and improve the skills of personnel with respect tocommand process, decision-making, management as well as application of tactics, techniques and procedures at various levels. In the author’s opinion, the use of tactical decision games and matrix decision games, whose structure and course are discussed in the article, plays a particularly important role in the training process.
