Abstract

Abstract In this article we study the problem of reading difficulties in children. We analyze the results of a research, which was aimed at creating a program for optimizing the functioning of visual mechanisms and determining the possibility of improving reading capabilities in children with reading difficulties. A special program of correctional sessions was elaborated on the basis of informational-communicational software, which allows to affect visual mechanisms differentially. Practical implementation of this program in experiments proved the effectiveness of given approaches in organizing correctional sessions aimed at overcoming reading difficulties and their prevention in children.
