Abstract
The unspecificity of hexose-1-phosphate uridyl transferase in red blood cell hemolysates of normal and galactosemic subjects was demonstrated with respect to glucose-1-phosphate. The possibility of the routine assay of this enzyme using labeled glucose-1-phosphate was demonstrated.
