Abstract

1. The conditions of high-temperature gas chromatography of substances containing sulfur simultaneously in the form of sulfide and sulfone groups in conjunction with a double bond on filled columns with an efficiency of 4500–5000 theoretical plates were developed. 2. The quantitative results obtained with a flame-ionization detector in the chromatography of isomeric sulfur-containing compounds correspond to the true composition of the mixture to be analyzed. 3. The separation of cis- and trans-isomers of ethyl-β-bromovinyl sulfides by the method of preparative gas chromatography was accomplished for the first time.
