Tragedy as a reference for a national event, namely National Health Day. This type of research is literature study. The data sources for this research are the novel Mak Adang and the Bunga Setangkai Tragedy, which were published in July 2020. The data collection technique was in the form of documentation which was analyzed using a checklist on tabulations according to the topic. Data analysis was carried out by grouping data, and presenting data by narrating according to photo documents and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the personal photo archives in the novel Mak Adsng and the Bunga Setangkai Tragedy reveal clearly and unequivocally the history of National Health Day. Since private archives can store important Indonesian national history, it is suggested that the government is concerned about collecting and documenting it in digital form. At the same time, it is necessary to take steps so that the community participates by seeking appropriate forms of incentives/rewards. destruction of inactive dynamic archive management. Recording activities in the form of recording records electronically are still not focused on one application, archive maintenance activities in the form of cleaning dusty archives and camping, there is still a lack of fire extinguishers for archive maintenance activities, archive transfer activities from external are mostly still in the form of messy archives without any news events and archive lists, and archive destruction activities have not been implemented due to the absence of an archive retention schedule.
Keywords: Personal Archives, Novel Mak Adang, National Health Day, USAID, Indonesian President Soekarno.
