Abstract The National Capital is the center of government of a country. This makes the State Capital will always be a historical record and the world's attention. Nusantara has been designated as a Candidate for the new State Capital. All processes concerning the movement and development of the Nusantara Capital will be of concern to the whole world, because the Nusantara Capital will be the first capital in the world to apply the concept of "forest city". The record created by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry in the framework of moving and developing the National Capital City is an embryo of archive in the field of environment and forestry. How the Ministry of Environment and Forestry provides recommendations for the release of forest areas, maintains nature conservation, ensures the harmony between the development of the National Capital and environmental sustainability, all of which will be recorded in the history of the country and the world.
