Abstract

Rape is a menace that is showing no signs of stopping. Although laws are in place to curb the menace but so far the legislations and law enforcement systems have proved inadequate. The article explores the idea of using classical conditioning for curbing mala fide sexual behavior in men by the use of sex education. The article analyses two landmark experiments in psychology – The Bobo Doll Experiment and the Little Albert experiment and tries to draw a parallel. Moreover, the article analyses the common theme behind the psychology of a rapist and then elucidates if those elements of sexual deviance can be treated.
