Abstract
1. The ability of Acid Orange to give a color reaction with 50 medicinal organic bases has been studied. 2. Methods have been devised and a quantitative determination has been carried out of papaverine hydrochloride, thiphen, adiphenine, and diporphene in preparations and medicinals. The method had adequate accuracy (from ±0.5 to ±1.57%).
