Abstract

In the Standard Model, the Unitarity Triangle, derived from the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa mixing matrix [M. Kobayashi and T. Maskawa, Prog. Theor. Phys. 49, 652 (1973)], is a graphical tool for describing CP violation. A measurement inconsistent with this triangle would be evidence of non-Standard Model physics. This report covers progress in measuring the Unitarity Triangle angle γ(ϕ3) at the two B factories, BaBar and Belle.
