Abstract
SUMMARY White cells and thrombocytes from the peripheral blood of healthy adult fowls were examined. Certain cell organelles and their locations were described. The anticoagulants heparin, ethylenediaminetetra-acetic acid (EDTA), trisodium citrate and sodium oxalate were tested and the two former gave the best contrast under the electron microscope.
