Abstract

Summary Facial telangiectasias are benign lesions unless they manifest underlying systemic diseases. Many patients present with the desire to have spider veins removed, and multiple options exist. Various wavelength laser treatment and radiofrequency ablation are simple procedures that lend themselves to the outpatient ambulatory setting and provide predictable results for treating telangiectasias. When used conservatively, these treatments are safe and effective.
