Abstract

The scope of the article is the development of an automated system for analysis of urban traffic safety management and road conditions on a specific road segment by data mining methods, allowing multidimensional processing of information and identifying models and trends that help to make decisions. To construct a mathematical model of the dependence of road accidents on the parameters of the traffic situation on the site, the data obtained were analyzed by the analytical platform Deductor 5.3. Several popular methods were used, including neural networks of three different configurations with the number of intermediate layers from 1 to 3 and a decision tree based on the modified C4.5 algorithm.
