Abstract
Few sinologists have achieved greater renown in and outside of China than Wolfgang Kubin. In this wide-ranging interview with poet and academic Hu Sang, Kubin discusses his work translating modern and contemporary Chinese poetry, and gives his views on the state of poetry, translation, and Chinese studies today.
