Abstract

As part of an economics unit, my students investigated the feasibility of having a sandwich bar in our school's cafeteria. To complete their study accurately and effectively, they needed to learn and understand the mathematical concepts of cost per unit, percents, taxes, surveys, graphing, and geometry.
