Abstract
In order to obtain the criterion equations of heat transfer and air resistance coefficient of the tube-core-fin radiator and improving the performance of this type of radiator, the experimental research was carried out in a certain Reynolds number range. The maximum relative error of heat transfer coefficient is less than 6.61% between results of experiment and criterion equations. Nusselt number and air resistance coefficient change with Reynolds number and the number of tube rows were discussed. The research shows that the obtained criterion equations can forecast the performance of heat transfer and air resistance coefficient; Heat transfer performance of radiator becomes better when the tube row numbers increase; Air resistance coefficient decreases when Reynolds number increases and resistance coefficient of two-row tubes is bigger than four-row tubes when Reynolds number is constant.
