Abstract

The pattern of intensity transmitted due to the interference in a non-dissipative dispersive thin layer (NDDTL) is investigated. For the layer mentioned the generalized relations for line width, power resolution, magnitude of the minima and visibility of interference fringes are presented. Finally the interference patterns of a cold collisionless plasma layer as a NDDTL sample are simulated.
