Abstract

Argumentative connectors are found in literary works including Monnè, outrages and challenges by Ahmadou Kourouma. The objective is to show that they produce a textual effect on the language user in a good narrative structure of a convincing nature. This analysis underpins a methodology based on text grammar which is an approach to enunciative grammar theory. The result is that use is made of the usual logical connectors with specific argumentative values in a dynamic of scriptural intelligibility and persuasion. Keywords: logical connectors, argumentation, enunciation, text, story.
