Abstract

The article analyzes the policy of the Joe Biden administration regarding the Syrian conflict during the first two years of his presidency. It is concluded that there were two stages of Biden's Syrian policy, with a clear boundary between them in January-February 2022, when softer and more diplomatic approaches were replaced by more forceful measures. In conclusion, a prognosis is made about changes in the Syrian policy of the current administration, including as a result of the midterm elections held in November 2022.
