Abstract
In this paper I solve the Schrodinger differential equation parametrized in terms of Euler's angles for the symmetrical top. I obtain the energy levels and Green's function for this equation in a closed representation in terms of analytical functions. As a by‐product, I have obtained a new sum for two hypergeometric functions in terms of analytical functions, namely Appell's functions.
