Abstract
The marine microorganism have considerable potential to produce new type of biologically active substances because of their special environment. It should be a new research field to find and develop anticancer medicament from marine microorganisms. Many new anti-tumor active substances been separated and identified from marine organisms such as marine actinomycetes, fungi and bacteria In recent years, these compounds showed a high anti-tumor biological activity level. This article reviewed the study progress of anti-tumor material separated from marine microorganisms during the nearest few years.
