Abstract

The current road traffic safety management system in china does not meet the requirements of the “big traffic management” objectively. the experience of traffic management in foreign developed countries suggests that to deepen reform of the road traffic safety management system in china should be separated between the powers of policy-making and execution in terms of authority function, more man-centered in terms of value standard, and more informationalized in terms of functional means. To set up a standardized and unified system of road traffic safety laws gradually is the primary measures for the reform of the road traffic safety management system in china. Furthermore, china should pay more attention to the construction of road traffic safety management planning and establish a comprehensive road traffic safety administration, when the conditions are ripe.
