Abstract
Design of various Dammann grating including the equally-spaced, unequally-spaced and circular Dammann grating is introduced in this paper. Dammann grating is pure-phase-modulation grating whose phase transtion points are optimized to produce equal-intensity spots at diffractive orders with highly efficiency. Firstly, the theory and optimized solutions of various Dammann grating with various algorithm is prsented. Another, the diffractive characterization and uniformity of the generated multiple spots are analyzed in this paper.
