Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of the cognitive behavioral on improving negative emotion and reducing psychological stress of the patient with peptic ulcer,in order to offer the basis for clinical nursing.Methods Sixty patients with peptic ulcer who was in hospital were divided into study group (30 patients) and control group (30 patients) by coin dividing group method,two groups all were given conventional medical treatment,the control group was given clinical conventional nursing,on that basis,the study group was given the cognitive behavioral therapy including health education,psychology guidance and music therapy.At the time when they were admitted to hospital and left hospital,the negative emotion and psychological stress of two groups were evaluated by SDS,SAS and CPSS.Results At the time when they were admitted to hospital,the scores of SDS,SAS and CPSS in two groups were not different (P > 0.05),when they left hospital,the scores of SDS,SAS and CPSS in study group were lower than those in control group (P < 0.01).Conclusions The cognitive behavioral therapy could reduce psychological stress and improve negative emotion for the patient with peptic ulcer,it has a role in the therapy and rehabilitation for the patient.
