Abstract

The need for sociological study of public opinion results from the Party's concern with both expansion of the informational base and raising of the level of scientific competence of management of social processes. Given the steadily growing role of the subjective factor in accelerating the pace of construction of communism, sociological information on the status, structure, and dynamics of public opinion is becoming increasingly important to improving the effectiveness of administration.
