Abstract

Maintenance cost is a crucial index of civil aircraft, and the direct maintenance cost is one of the vital constituents in civil aircraft maintenance cost which can be controlled by the improvement of development level. The estimation of entire aircraft direct maintenance cost is an important input to the design of civil aircraft. This paper presents the work carried out in confirming the applicable phase, optimizing the calculation factors, and performing sensitivity analysis with the study of NASA-95 method.
