Abstract

We present spin-averaged deep inelastic structure functions of particles on a Regge trajectory in terms of the structure function of its lowest-lying member. They are extracted from a dual-model ansatz for Compton scattering off two particles which leads to canonical scaling. Part of the result is confirmed in the Bethe-Salpeter bound-state picture. We discuss the implications of our results for deep inelastic e+e+ annihilation where inclusive resonance production plays an important role.
