Abstract

The national exam of geography has been pursued for almost two decades, but the issues of thestructure of its tasks have been little investigated. The focus of this investigation is the structure of the tasks of the national exam of geography. The subject of investigation is the tasks of the national exam of geography. The performed analysis of the tasks of the national exam of geography shows that the structure of the tasks has changed three times in the last 10 years. The changes of the tasks structure of the national exam of geography were related to the changes of the program and status of this exam, but there are no essential differences between the content and structureof the tasks of school and national exams of geography. The tasks of geography national exam are characterized by an increasing variety of sources of information: geographical issues prevailed in school exam while the national exam began to diversify its sources of information.
