Abstract
This article is devoted to the issues of strength and reliability of the wheel, as well as minimizing its weight, which allows to improve traction and brake dynamics, smooth running, fuel efficiency, etc. The solution of the problem of determining the stress-strain state of the automobile wheel with fifteen-degree landing shelves is presented. In the article it is offered to equalize the stresses arising at internal and external surfaces of a rim of a variable thickness, at the expense of variation of thickness of a rim of a car wheel in various zones.
