Abstract

The following is an interview with Dr Dave Harper, Programme Director (Academic) on the Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, University of East London. Dave presented a keynote speech titled ‘The possibilities (and perils) of a psychosocial approach to public mental health’ at the 2017 International Society for Critical Health Psychology (ISCHP). This talk and issues relating to qualitative research, clinical psychology and social justice are discussed in the following interview. The interview was conducted by Cheryl Hunter, an associate editor of QMiP Bulletin and trainee clinical psychologist at the University of East London.
