“The State Respects and Guarantees Human Rights” Included in the Constitution

Abstract

“The state respects and guarantees human rights” was included in the Constitution (human rights into the Constitution), and human rights became an important constitutional principle. “Human rights into the Constitution” provided not only the substantial rights but also obligations of the state’s respecting and guaranteeing human rights, which became a new milestone for the development of human rights system in China. “Human rights into the Constitution” started a new era of human rights protection in China, which would benefit the further improvement of legal system, facilitate all-round development of our socialist human rights career, and benefit the international communication and cooperation of our country.
