Abstract
We have heard, with great emotion, greetings to the Congress of Teachers and, through it, to our country's entire vast army of educational workers from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the USSR Supreme Soviet, and the USSR Council of Ministers. The Party Central Committee has appraised highly the role and activity of the Soviet teaching profession in the education and communist upbringing of the rising generation, and has defined the school's main tasks in its contemporary stage and the prospects for its further development.
