Abstract

The computer-aided design activities of MIS are developing, basing upon recent results, obtained in the field of standartization and typification of MIS design. Recently, simultaneously with computers, new integrated systems for automation of all the stages of system life cycle are being created. The paper presents the main trends of theoretical and practical investigations; characteristics of simulation modelling systems and standard management and design systems for application on enterprises with discrete production; the prospects of MIS computer-aided design, oriented to the managers, working in dynamic environment conditions. The Technical Committee of Computer-Aided Design of MIS under the auspices of the National Committee of Automatic Control of the USSR plans to organize an international simposium in Baku in 1980.
