Abstract
In October 2019, CRI editor Rod Sweet acted as a juror in two categories of Bentley Systems’ Year in Infrastructure Awards, held in Singapore. In each category, three finalists were judged to have stood out from dozens of entrants in their use of technology to deliver construction projects. One category focussed on on the use of 4D models, while the other focussed on project delivery as a capability. Taken together, these six case studies, which include major projects and examples of business process reorganisation, provide a useful snapshot of the leading edge of industry digitalisation among contractors and clients.
