Abstract

The aim of the search is to: - Prepare a Scale of sports commitment among players in some team games. - identify the Scale of sports commitment among players in some team games. The researchers used the descriptive approach for its relevance and the nature of the research, as the sample of the research amounted to (170) players, including the stability sample of (40) players, and (8) players for the purposes of the exploratory experiment, while the distinction sample amounted to (120) players, as the research sample represents a percentage of (56,66%) of the research community, and the application sample amounted to (30) players, who were chosen by random method, and the sports commitment scale was prepared after applying the scientific statistical tool. In addition, the researcher used the statistical package (SPSS) to obtain (arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s simple correlation coefficient), Spearman-Brown equation, t-test, chi-square, percentage, and hypothetical mean). The researchers reached the following conclusions: - Appropriateness of the measure of sports commitment among players in some team games, which was prepared by the researchers in accordance with the scientific principles for the designing of sports standards. - The team games players have a degree of sports commitment higher than the hypothetical average of the scale and that the players possess a high level of sports commitment, which indicates that the players have a high degree of commitment.
