Abstract

The article deals with the study of personal pronouns in Dargin dialects, in which two different lexical units are attested, denoting the 1st person of the unit: du and nu “I”. The features of their declination and formation of plural are identified and described. Paradigms of declension of inclusive (nihhya) and exclusive (nyssa) forms of pronouns in the Khaidak, Tsudakhar and Chirag dialects are given. Forms of inclusion and exclusivity that are not represented in the Dargin literary language and in most dialects of the Dargin language show genetically common lexical parallels in the Avar-Andean, Tsez and Lezgin languages, which indicate their ancient origin.
