Abstract
The review analyzes publications on the specific features of the progression of shoulder joint damage in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and on the surgical treatment of these patients. Progressive shoulder joint structural changes in RA are accompanied by the formation of articular surface erosions, as well as by damage to the rotator cuff tendons. Several classifications of shoulder joint injuries are described. Reverse shoulder replacement is the surgery of choice in these patients.

В обзоре представлен анализ публикаций, посвященных особенностям прогрессирования поражения плечевого сустава (ПС) у больных ревматоидным артритом (РА) и хирургическому лечению этих пациентов. Особенности поражения плечевого сустава и варианты хирургического лечения у пациентов с ревматоидным артритом. Однако частота рентгенологических изменений ПС при РА несколько ниже и составляет от 48 до 64%, что говорит о преимущественном поражении мягких тканей у многих больных. При обследовании пациентов через 2 года после дебюта РА около 5% из них имели клинические признаки поражения ПС (боль, выпот).
