Abstract
Abstract A novel efficient, cost-effective and solvent-free vinylogous Mannich reaction of dicyanoalkylidenes with α-amido sulfones catalyzed by potassium carbonate has been accomplished under ultrasound irradiation at room temperature. This method has advantages such as mild condition, high yields, shorter reaction time, easy work-up, and less toxic.
