Abstract

As the Society of Family Planning (SFP) prepared to mark its 10th anniversary in 2015 this editorial takes a look back at what has been achieved in the last decade. What began as a small academic society compromised of the 18 family planning fellowship directors as founding members and 23 allied researchers as charter members has grown into a multidisciplinary society with nearly 500 fellows.
