Abstract
In the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the Republic of Moldova the agriculture quota constitutes more than 15%. The food agrarian product quota in the total export is of about 60%. The ec onomic efficiency reflects the final result, efficient eff ect (useful) obtained from the agricultural land us age, of the production means, of the materials consumption, lab or resources, etc. The efficiency is the production result and this result can be of low level or negative. And th at does why in some cases can be created favorable conditions for the enlarged reproduction process execution, bu t in other cases, against, the created situation le ads to the production diminishing. For the economic efficiency characterization of any branch of production there is used a system of indicators. These indicators reflect the level of production factors usage, as well as the s elling conditions, request, offer, competition between the producers, etc. In the competitive economic condit ions the activity objectives of the enterprises are oriented to the profit obtaining from the selling of produc tion, good that satisfies the human necessities . MATERIALS AND METHODS The researches in the field of economic efficiency estimation of the world agricultural production are based on the following methods: monographic method, selective method, indexes method, grouping, comparison method, etc RESULTS AND DISCUSSIONS The result of economic efficiency estimation of th e world production in the dynamics of the years 2001-2006 shows, a low level of usage of its economic and production possibilities. The agricultural land performances, fixed means of production with agricultural destination, materials consumption are diminishing, but the prof itability level of the world agricultural production at the republic level does not exceed 20 %. Some resources are used more efficiently, other less, and an estimation taking i nto consideration just the profitability level would be incomplete. In order to determine the enti re economic efficiency of the world agricultural production it is necessary to calculat e, beside the traditional indexes, a synthetic index (integral) of efficiency as medium multilater al coefficient, calculated on the bases of the main indexes that characterize the efficiency by th e following relation:
