Fay is assistant professor of industrial relations and human resources at the Institute of Management and Labor Relations, Rutgers University. He has developed and taught continuing education courses in performance management, compensation, human resource information systems, and other management areas for the Management Development Center at the Institute. He developed and administers the Human Resource Management Certificate Program for the Management Development Center at the institute, and teaches training and development, job analysis, and other courses in that program.
