Abstract
The review is devoted to the set of manuals “Digital Ascetics” and the prospects of its use in the educational process among modern youth. It also considers and problematizes the trend towards increasing digitalization of contemporary human existence and ways of finding a balance between “online” and “offline”.
The purpose of this review is to familiarize a wide range of readers with the methodology of “digital asceticism”, to justify the use of this methodology in the modern educational model, and to search for potential “growth zones” of this methodological material.
The results of the review can be useful to both teachers and students of schools, secondary schools, universities, and their parents.
