Abstract
The School-based Clinic is located in a New York City public elementary school with a small magnet junior high. This nurse-managed clinic has two components, the Child Health Care Center and the Family Center, of which I am the coordinator. The Family Center was established to provide services to parents and children in order to prevent the development of behavioral disorders in children.
